Chiropody and Hairdressing
Parker House has a fully-qualified Podiatrist who visits the home every six weeks or sooner as necessary. He attends to and treats all our care home family and liaises with the home’s nurse manager should any further treatment be required.
If you prefer to have your own chiropodist, please inform staff that you are arranging this independently so that we can ensure they are not also seen by the home’s podiatrist.
Parker House has a hairdresser who visits the home every week, to attend to both male and female residents. If the resident wants his/her hair done by our hairdresser for a particular occasion, please inform the manager or the person in charge and they will happily make the necessary arrangements.
If you prefer to have a personal hairdresser, the facilities are available for them to use; please inform staff prior to the appointment.
